Fun Stuff
Breaking news: the space on Bond formerly occupied by Cafe Kitsune (which has closed all US locations) will be filled by a sister restaurant to the excellent Ingas Bar (pictured below) in Brooklyn Heights. Huge upgrade IMO.
If you’re sick of dry turkey and crowded ovens, there are still multiple places in the neighborhood taking Thanksgiving preorders or reservations if you hurry:
Rucola has seatings for their three course pre fixe from 12:30-8:00pm. Book via Resy or give them a call.
Bacchus has a Thanksgiving menu all day.
Mile End will cater. Call them or walk in, their website seems busted.
French Louie is offering Thanksgiving dinner, and is donating 10% of the menu price to Neighbors Together. Good stuff.
If you’re in a pinch, Wegman’s can take care of everything and you can decide whether or not to lie about it.
Lindquist is officially opened as of noon today, just in time for the holiday season. If you’re paying up for a bag, high quality local(ish) work that lasts is always worth more than some hardware slapped on an LVMH global-assembly piece.
If you’re from a Christmas Vacation family, you can take the kids to the Alamo Drafthouse on November 30.
The Brooklyn Paramount is going strong all November, including a back-to-back from Geese, famous for being Fort Greene kids from Brooklyn Friends who actually play instruments and are not (to my knowledge) DJs.
Vibe coding and building mics out of vapes this weekend at NYC Resistor.
Neighborhood Stuff

No insurance required. Call 718-246-4889 or email simonj@nyassembly.gov to schedule.
We love to see a colorful kitchen.
The old Central United Methodist Church building next door to the Williamsburg building will be redeveloped into housing.
Transit Stuff
This Saturday and Sunday the 2 and 3 will be running reduced service (10-12 minutes) all day and night.
This Saturday and Sunday the Q will be running every 10 minutes (charitable) and starting Friday will not be running between Prospect Park and Coney Island from 11:30-5:00am. The N and R are also going to be finicky at night due to track replacement.
The MTA has started Automated Camera Enforcement (ACE) on the B11 and B63 bus routes, using a bus-mounted camera system to issue violations to vehicles blocking bus lanes and busways, as well as to vehicles that are double parked along bus corridors or blocking bus stops. Noncompliant vehicles will receive warning notices by mail during a 60-day startup period. Fines start at $50 and increase by $50 for each new violation, up to $250.
